Nothin’ Like My Old Self
Caught the movie In Time. I think it’s a really good movie! It’s about a world where people spend “time” instead of “money”. I think I got the moral that the scriptwriter is trying to convey.
I guess, if I were to be living in that world, I’ll give away all my “time” to my loved ones, ‘cause I am wasting my time.
I used to cherish time a lot. I can do so much stuffs with a minute. I made full use of my time, training, completing my assignments, and more training. ‘Cause I knew I had a limited time, and I mustn’t waste my youth. I wanted to be someone great, leaving a legacy that will last for generations, that’s why I spend my time wisely, making my way towards my dream.
After the incident, my dreams shattered. I lost my goal and I got really tired of everything. I got tired of rushing, rushing to be faster, rushing to be stronger, rushing to be bigger. I just wanted to have the luxury of time. I’ve let down my old self.
Time really do wait for no one, but here I am living like death doesn’t exist.
